There are currently 1.2 billion Youth aged between 15 and 24. Of these 550 million of whom are living below the poverty threshold of US$1,9 per day and suffer from malnutrition, illness, violence and abuse…
To address this emergency, LP4Y is working with Youth aged between 17 and 24 years old living in extreme poverty and victims of exclusion creating an integration ecosystem.

Objectives

  1. Professional and social integration of underprivileged Youth living in exclusion: 1263 accompanied Youth since 2009, and 489 Youth integrated in the decent world in 2017
  2. Training of trainers to social and professional integration of excluded Youth
  3. Advocacy for the integration of Youth at risk

Principles and means of actions

Thanks to an innovative pedagogy based on entrepreneurship, the Youth follow during 18 months a training: the “Professional Training for Entrepreneurs”. This training is divided into 3 pillars: business management (WORK), remedial education and essential business skills development (LEARN), and individual and collective personal development (GUIDE).
